CSIR-UGC (NET) EXAM FOR AWARD OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURERSHIP

LIFE SCIENCES
EXAM SCHEME

TIME: 3 HOURS                                                  MAXIMUM MARKS: 200

From June, 2011 CSIR-UGC (NET) Exam in place of Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility in place of Lecturership shall be a Single Paper Test having Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The question paper is separated in three parts
Part 'A' 
                This part shall cart 20 questions pertaining to General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis and Research Aptitude. The candidates shall be requisite to answer some 15 questions. Each question shall be of two letters. The calculate letters allocated to this section shall be 30 barred of 200.

Part 'B'
                This part shall contain 50 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) in the main cover the topics certain in the course outline. A candidate shall be requisite to answer some 35 questions. Each question shall be of two letters. The calculate letters allocated to this section shall be 70 barred of 200.

Part 'C'
                This part shall contain 75 questions with the aim of are designed to test a candidate's awareness of controlled concepts and/or claim of the controlled concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature someplace a candidate is likely to apply the controlled awareness to arrive by the side of the solution to the certain controlled snag. A candidate shall be requisite to answer some 25 questions. Each question shall be of four letters. The calculate letters allocated to this section shall be 100 barred of 200.

·                      There will be harmful marking @25% in place of both abuse answer.

·                      To enable the candidates to function through the questions, the question paper booklet shall be disseminated 15 minutes by the scheduled schedule of the exam. The Answer sheet shall be disseminated by the side of the scheduled schedule of the exam.

·                       On completion of the exam i.E. By the side of the scheduled concluding schedule of the exam, the candidates shall be permitted to cart the Question Paper Booklet. No candidate is permitted to cart the Question Paper Booklet in legal action he/she chooses to leave the test by the scheduled concluding schedule.

·                       Model Question Paper shall be released by the side of the schedule of Notification in place of June 2011 exam
