Signaling Pathways/Lung Cancer JRF Opening

Research position in I.C.M.R sponsored Ad-hoc project “Association of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms and Methylation status in the Wnt and AhR Signaling pathways with risk for occurrence of Lung Cancer in a North Indian Population”

Junior Research Fellow (ONE)

Qualification: M.Sc. Biotechnology/Life-Sciences/Molecular-Biology/ and 60% marks or equivalent grade and preferably having a valid CSIR-UGC/DBT/ICMR JRF or GATE/NET-LS score.

Desirable: Preference would be given to candidates possessing hands on experience with molecular techniques like PCR, RFLP, SSCP, Epigenetic analysis, statistical data interpretation etc along with experience in collection of blood samples and epidemiological data.

Fellowship: Rs.16,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for ICMR-JRF/CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/ DBT-JRF

Rs.12,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for GATE/CSIR-UGC NET-LS

Duration: 3.0 years. Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extendable for every 6 months depending upon the performance of the candidate.
