ANNOUNCEMENT


Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow with a fellowship of Rs 16,000 + 20% HRA in a DST-SERB sponsored project entitled ‘Effect of changing climate on plant–rhizospheric–chemical interactions and bioremediation of organic pollutants’ sanctioned up to 3 years.

The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should have M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Environmental Technology/Environmental Management/Botany/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life Science/Bioscience with at least 55% marks and have qualified CSIR/UGC-NET or ICAR-NET and age below 28 years (33 years for women and SC/ST candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will preferred as per GoI rules.

Research experience in plant–microbe interactions and molecular biology would be desirable.
