WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A ‘Walk-in-Interview’ is proposed to be held at this DWR, Regional Station, Flower dale, Shimla, on 27.11.2012 for filling up the under mentioned position on contractual basis.

Junior Research Fellow

Important Qualifications: M.Sc. (Plant Biotechnology/Plant Genetics/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Plant Pathology/Botany with Plant Pathology.

Necessary Qualification: NET qualified, Ph.D in above subjects, in Plant Pathology & working knowledge of related computer software.

DBT funded project: “Puccinia triticina genomics, Network on DE novo sequencing, fitness variation and pathogencity.”

For 1st & 2nd year: Rs. 16000/- p.m + 10%HRA

For 3rd year: Rs.18000/- p.m + 10%HRA

Positions and conditions

                                                    

i. The upper age limit for JRF will be as under:-

35 Years for Men & 40 Years for Women candidates

(Relaxation for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India Norms.)

ii. The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief report of research work done and latest two passport size photographs.

iii. Number of positions is tentative and there are possibilities of increase or decrease.

iv. Experience certificate in original for two years of research book done by candidate.

v. The positions are purely on temporary basis and are co-terminus with the Project or are as indicated in the selection offer, whichever is earlier. The candidate will not have any right for absorption in DWR/ICAR.

vi. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

vii. The decision of the Project Director shall be final and binding in all respects.
