Essential Qualifications :M Sc Zoology / Life
Sciences
Desirable: Research experience in collection
and analyses of environmental/biotic samples. CSIR-NET qualified or equivalent
(i.e., CSIR/UGC-NET- LS) will be given preference. Knowledge of computer
applications.
Job requirement: the selected candidate ought to assist
scientists in the collection/analyses of marine biota for taxonomic,
physiological & biochemical parameters and in collation, analyses &
interpretation of results. The candidates should be willing to work extensively
using microscopes. The selected candidate will be required to go on field work
and cruises for collection of biological samples.
Maximum age as on date of interview: 28
Consolidated Stipend per month: Rs. 16000
