Project Title: “R & D Activity for INO-ICAL Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) detectors”
Qualification: i) JRF: M. Sc. in Physics or B. Tech. or equivalent degree. Candidates with NET / GATE or equivalent qualifications will be preferred. The candidates appearing for their M.Sc. final in 2012 can also apply. There is possibility that good candidates might get registered for PhD at Delhi University. In addition to the minimum qualification, basic knowledge of Particle/Nuclear physics, C++ Programming language and working knowledge of LINIX will be preferred. ii) RA : Ph.D. in Physics (Preferably Nuclear and/or Particle Physics) with experience in dealing with nuclear detectors, fast electronics and working knowledge of C++, LINIX, etc.
Pay Scale: For J.R.F. Rs.16, 000 p.m. + H.R.A., and for R.A. Rs 22,000 + H.R.A. and other benefits as admissible by Delhi University and/or DST
