CSIR- Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research wishes to recruit PROJECT FELLOWS/SR. PROJECT FELLOWS/RESEARCH ASSOCIATE AND FIELD ASSISTANT (TECHNICAL HR) on temporary basis to work in CSIR and other externally funded projects based on availability of vacancies and to make a panel of the selected candidates for the future project positions in this Institute at Jammu.

1. PROJECT FELLOWS (PF)

Essential Qualification: M Sc/ B E/ B Tech or equivalent degree (Chemical Sciences–Organic/ Medicinal/ Bio-organic/ Analytical/ Natural Products/Pharmaceutical; Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics- Chemo/Pharmaco; / Botany etc.; Chemical Engineering ) with at least 55% marks

OR

B Pharm or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one year research experience.

OR

M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharma) or equivalent degree (Chemical Sciences –/Medicinal/ Analytical/ Natural Products/ Pharmaceutical; Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Botany etc.)

2. SENIOR PROJECT FELLOWS (SPF)

Essential Qualification: M.Sc/ BE/ BTech or equivalent degree (Chemical Sciences–Organic/ Medicinal/ Bio-organic/ Analytical/ Natural Products/Pharmaceutical; Life Sciences/Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics-Chemo/ Pharmaco;/ Botany etc.; Chemical Engineering ) with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least two years of post MSc/ BE/ BTech research experience;

OR

M Tech/ME or equivalent degree in engineering/technology (Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering) with at least 60% marks;

OR

B Pharm or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least three years research experience;

OR

M Pharm/ M.S. (Pharma)/ MVSc/ MSc(Ag) or equivalent degree (Chemical Sciences –/Medicinal/ Analytical/ Natural Products/ Pharmaceutical; Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Botany etc.) with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have at least one year research experience.

OR

MBBS/BDS or equivalent with at least 60% marks and one year internship;

3. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA)

Essential Qualification: Persons possessing PhD (Chemical Sciences–Organic/ Medicinal/ Bio-organic/ Analytical/ Natural Products/ Pharmaceutical; Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Bioinformatics - Chemo/Pharmaco;/ Botany etc.; Chemical Engineering ) or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/MPharm/ME/MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal will be eligible to apply for RA.

4. FIELD ASSISTANT (FA) /TECHNICAL HR

Essential Qualification: Graduate with at least one year experience in operating analytical instruments/scientific documentation/laboratory work/field work related to agro-technology.

Age and stipend for the above positions is as under:-

POST STIPEND AGE

PF Rs.16,000/-PM.+ HRA 28 years

PF Rs.16,000/-PM.+ HRA 28 years

SPF Rs.18,000/-PM + HRA 32 years

RA Rs.22,000/-PM + HRA 35 years

FA Rs.6,500/- PM (fixed) 28 years

Age: Age will be determined as on the date of interview. (Relaxation of age is admissible for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories and Women candidates as per GOI /CSIR orders). Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of domicile certificate from the concerned District Magistrate in the J&K within whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily been resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of J&K to the effect that he/she had ordinarily been domiciled in the J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

In case of SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks shall be relaxed by 5% Tenure of the project : ONE YEAR : likely to be extended.

Candidates fulfilling the above qualifications and age may attend the interview on 17.12.2013, 18.12.2013 and 19.12.2013,as mentioned above, at this Institute. They must bring with them filled in form available on IIIM Website along with attached photograph and Xerox attested copies of certificates/documents like educational qualification, Date of birth, Caste, Domicile certificate etc. They must also bring original certificates of the above said documents i.e. educational qualification, Date of birth, Caste, Domicile certificate etc. NO TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
