Applications are invited on prescribed format for a Junior Research Fellow position available in the Department of Molecular Microbiology, School of Biotechnology, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai - 625 021 to work on the DST- (Fast track projects for young scientists) sponsored Project.

1.   Title of the Project:

 “Biodiesel from oleaginous unicellular algae: strain selection, media optimization and metabolic engineering for enhanced lipid biosynthesis”

2. Location: Junior Research Fellow (01)

3. Period: 3 Years.

4. Fellowship: Rs.12000 + HRA for first two years and 14000 + HRA for 3rd year

5. Qualification: M.Sc. (with at least 55% marks) in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences
